HydroClean 660 Wins Editor’s Choice Award at the International Hotel Show
MJSI, Inc. is proud to announce that the HydroClean toilet fill valve received an Editor’s Choice Award in the “Essentials” category at the International Hotel/Motel and Restaurant Show. The competition was judged by the editors of eleven leading hospitality publications. Products from around the world were evaluated based on innovative product design; use of a new technology; creative use of a material or construction; and, how well the product answers an industry need.
"This year's competition was extremely competitive, featuring a wide range of innovative products and resources that promise to take the guest experience to the next level," said Lynn White, show manager. "These awards continue to serve as a distinguished honor for the industry, positioning the selected products for success in the market."
The HydroClean was introduced into the hotel market less than a year ago and is already being used by 8 of the top 10 hotel companies. It provides hoteliers, apartment owners, and consumers with a feature-rich water management tool that saves water, money and time.”
In a test done earlier this year by an advisor to the USEPA's WaterSense program, installation of the HydroClean reduced water usage in a high-rise building by 36% by accurately calibrating the toilets and by detecting leaks. In another study at a major hotel property, the HydroClean showed that 73% of low-flow toilets wasted 32 ounces of water or more per flush.
Installation of the HydroClean immediately reduces water lost due to miscalibration, and is able to alert users to almost 100% of toilet leaks. Because of sustainable water savings, the HydroClean has a proven market return on investment, in most cases, of less than a year, with monthly financial savings after that.
