A Dual Flush Converter gives you the option to flush a little or a lot to help you save money and the Water Saving Fill Valve can also help you save a little more by filling the bowl and tank of your toilet at different rates.

In July we wrote about dual-flush retrofit kits for modern 1.6 gallon-per-flush toilets. I volunteered to complete a retrofit of my own and report on the results. After a successful install and roughly one month's use I am happy to say the dual-flush install works nicely.
Selecting the proper flush amount became second nature almost immediately and there have been no performance issues whatsoever despite some, ahem, formidable challenges to the new flush mechanism. The trick is to dial in the flush amounts for each mode. The HydroClean and HydroRight have features that allow for easy adjustment to the amount of fill to the bowl as well as the amount of flush for each of the two flush options. For button #1 we adjusted the Blue Float so that the water amount just barely permitted a flush. For button #2 we adjusted the Green Slide to about a middle setting. Both flushes are working well.
